A Passion Ignited
Bonjour! I’m Mireille Laurent, the creator of Gourmetra. My love for cooking was born in my grandmother’s rustic kitchen in Provence, France, where the aroma of fresh herbs and simmering sauces was a part of daily life. It was there I learned that the best meals are made not just with fine ingredients, but with patience, passion, and a touch of love.
My journey led me through the prestigious halls of a Parisian culinary academy and into the demanding world of fine dining. Yet, my heart always longed to return to the simple elegance of home cooking. I started Gourmetra to demystify gourmet food and share the joy of creating beautiful, restaurant-worthy dishes in the comfort of your own kitchen.
