  • 1 Tbsp Cilantro Chopped, plus more for garnish
  • 1 tsp Paprika Adjust according to heat preference
  • 1/2 tsp Cayenne pepper Omit or reduce for milder flavor
  • 1/2 tsp Sea salt Kosher salt preferred
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper Freshly ground is best
  • 2 Tbsp Olive oil Divided for sautéing
For the Avocado Spread
  • 1 Avocado Ripe, for creamy texture
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 Tbsp Lime juice Fresh is preferred
For the Base
  • 1 English cucumber Sliced into rings

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the shrimp with garlic, cilantro, paprika, cayenne, sea salt, black pepper, and 1 Tbsp olive oil. Let marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat with the remaining olive oil. Sauté shrimp for about 2 minutes on each side until fully cooked.
  3. In a small bowl, mash the avocado and mix in salt and lime juice until creamy.
  4. Slice the cucumber into rings and spread avocado mixture on each slice. Top with a sautéed shrimp.
  5. Garnish with lime juice and chopped cilantro before serving.
