Step-by-Step Instructions
- Cream together the softened unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes. Then, add softened cream cheese and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth. Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients until combined.
- Gently fold in fresh blueberries, taking care not to crush them. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill the dough in the refrigerator for about 2 hours.
- Prepare the filling by mixing cream cheese and blueberry jam until smooth. Set aside.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Scoop out cookie dough and flatten slightly, make a well in the center, and spoon in the cream cheese filling. Mold the dough around the filling to create a ball.
- Place the cookies on the baking sheet, leaving space between each. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden around the edges and slightly set in the middle.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes
Chill the dough for at least 2 hours to prevent spreading and achieve perfect texture. Be gentle when folding in blueberries to avoid crushing them.
