  1. Gather all ingredients. Wash tomatoes and chiles, chop onion, garlic, and cilantro.
  2. Preheat skillet over medium heat. Rub with olive oil. Roast tomatoes and chiles for about 5 minutes per side.
  3. Remove roasted ingredients from skillet. Blend with chopped onion, garlic, and cilantro until desired consistency.
