Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by bringing a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil over high heat.
  2. Add your dried pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente, usually around 8-10 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
  3. Set aside 1 cup of the starchy pasta water before draining the pasta in a colander.
  4. Return the hot pasta to the pot to keep it warm.
  5. In a small pan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  6. Add the sliced garlic and sauté for about 2 minutes.
  7. Introduce minced garlic and continue to cook for another minute until fragrant.
  8. Season with sea salt and black pepper. Mix well.
  9. Pour the melted garlic butter sauce over the drained pasta and toss gently.
  10. If too thick, add reserved pasta water gradually for desired texture.
  11. Mix in grated Parmesan cheese and minced parsley just before serving.
