Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the Salmon: Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Rub with olive oil, then sprinkle with Cajun seasoning and salt. Let sit for a few minutes to absorb flavors.
  2. Heat the Skillet: Warm a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat for about 2 minutes. Add the seasoned salmon fillets, skin-side up, and sear for approximately 3 minutes.
  3. Flip the Salmon: Gently flip the salmon so it is skin-side down. Cook for another 2 minutes, ensuring the skin crisps.
  4. Make the Honey Butter Sauce: In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Once melted, stir in honey, soy sauce, and garlic, simmer for 2-3 minutes until bubbling.
  5. Add Lemon Juice and Combine: Squeeze lemon juice into the sauce and stir well. Pour the glaze over the salmon, spooning it regularly.
  6. Finish Cooking the Salmon: Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until the salmon reaches 145°F (63°C) and flakes easily.
  7. Garnish and Serve: Transfer salmon to a platter. Garnish with parsley and sesame seeds, serve hot with lemon wedges.
