  • 1 cup Salsa fresh pico de gallo for freshness

Step-by-Step Instructions

  2. Cook the lean ground beef with chopped onion and red pepper in a skillet for 7-10 minutes.
  3. Mix taco seasoning, biscuit mix, water, sour cream, mayonnaise, and diced chiles in a bowl to form a thick batter.
  4. Layer half of the meat mixture, followed by biscuit mixture, salsa, and cheese in a greased casserole dish. Repeat layers.
  5. Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  6. Let cool for a few minutes before serving to firm up the layers.
