  • 4 oz Cream Cheese optional
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar not applicable if not using cream cheese
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract use pure vanilla for richer flavor
For Topping/Glaze
  • 2 tbsp Melted Butter can substitute with oil for dairy-free
  • 1 tbsp Coarse Sugar optional
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar Glaze mix with milk for drizzle

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles. Spoon ½ teaspoon of cream cheese mixture and 1-2 teaspoons of cherry pie filling on each triangle. Fold and seal tightly.
  4. Place the bites on the lined baking sheet and brush melted butter over the tops. Sprinkle with coarse sugar if desired.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
  6. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar with a splash of milk. Once cooled, drizzle over the bites.
