Step-by-Step Instructions for Mango Lassi
  1. Begin by preparing your mangoes: peel and dice them beforehand. In a blender, combine the diced mangoes with 1 cup of plain non-fat yogurt, ½ cup of milk, 2 tablespoons of white sugar, and optional spices like a dash of cinnamon or ground cardamom for extra flavor. Make sure your blender lid is secure to avoid spills.
  2. Blend the mixture on high speed for about 30-60 seconds until it transforms into a smooth and creamy consistency. If the mixture seems too thick for your liking, gradually add more milk and blend again until you reach your desired thickness.
  3. Once your blend is smooth, take a quick taste. If you prefer it sweeter, slowly add more sugar and blend briefly to combine. If desired, adding a pinch more cardamom or cinnamon can enhance the lassi further.
  4. For an immediately refreshing drink, pour the Mango Lassi into chilled glasses. Alternatively, you can cover the blender pitcher and place it in the refrigerator to chill for 30-60 minutes.
  5. Before serving, give your Mango Lassi a good stir if it has been chilled. For a lovely touch, garnish with a sprinkle of cardamom or a slice of fresh mango on top.
