Step-by-Step Instructions
- Begin by washing the russet potatoes thoroughly to remove any dirt. Optionally peel them for a smoother texture. Next, cut the potatoes into evenly-sized fries, about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick.
- In a large mixing bowl, toss the freshly cut fries with a drizzle of olive oil. Sprinkle in garlic powder, salt, and pepper to taste, mixing well.
- Set your air fryer to preheat at 375°F (190°C). Once preheated, arrange the fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook the fries in the air fryer for 15-18 minutes. Shake the basket halfway through to promote even cooking.
- Transfer the hot fries to a serving bowl and sprinkle the freshly grated Parmesan on top. Toss in chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes
Soak the potato slices in cold water for 20-30 minutes before cooking for crispier fries. Always preheat your air fryer before adding the fries.
