Step-by-Step Instructions

  2. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan and bake for about 30 minutes until golden.
  3. After baking, let the cake cool completely on a wire rack for about 30 minutes.
  4. Once cooled, scoop and roll the cake into uniform bite-sized balls, 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter.
  5. In a medium bowl, mix sugar with cinnamon and any additional spices.
  6. Heat enough vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
  7. Fry the cake balls in batches for 3 to 4 minutes until golden brown, turning occasionally.
  8. Immediately roll the fried balls in the cinnamon-sugar mixture to coat them thoroughly.
