Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Steam or blanch about a cup of fresh broccoli until tender, about 3-5 minutes. Drain and chop finely.
  3. In a large bowl, mix chopped broccoli, sharp cheddar, beaten egg, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper until incorporated.
  4. Shape the mixture into balls the size of golf balls and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Let cool for 5 minutes and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
