- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Mix together sweetened condensed milk, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract in a bowl until combined.
- Fold in pecan halves and pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over the top of the pecan mixture without mixing.
- Drizzle melted butter over the cake mix, covering as much as possible.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
- Allow to cool for 15-20 minutes before serving warm, ideally with ice cream.
