  • ½ cup Butter
  • ½ cup Brown Sugar

  • ½ cup Cinnamon Sugar Can be made by mixing cinnamon with granulated sugar.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine water, butter, brown sugar, and a pinch of salt. Bring to a simmer until butter melts.
  2. Add all-purpose flour at once and stir vigorously until the dough pulls away from the sides of the pan.
  3. Let the dough rest for about 10 minutes, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time until the dough is sticky and glossy.
  5. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  6. Transfer the dough into a piping bag and pipe 3-4 inch strips onto the baking sheets, leaving space between each.
  7. Lightly spray churros with cooking spray and mist the parchment with water.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  9. Let the churro bites rest in the oven with the door ajar for 10 minutes.
  10. Dip the churro bites in melted butter and toss in cinnamon sugar until evenly coated.
