Step-by-Step Instructions for Broccoli Pasta Salad
  1. Start by boiling a large pot of salted water over high heat. Once boiling, add rotini pasta and cook for 8–10 minutes until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  2. While the pasta is cooking, chop the broccoli into bite-sized pieces and finely dice the red onion. Set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, sugar, white vinegar, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth.
  4. In a large bowl, combine cooled pasta with the creamy dressing, stirring until evenly coated.
