  1. In a medium bowl, combine lukewarm water with instant dry yeast and sugar, allowing it to froth for about 30 seconds.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour and salt, then make a well in the center to add the yeast mixture and olive oil, stirring until a wet dough forms.
  3. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and place in a warm oven for 1.5 to 2 hours, or refrigerate for 8 to 24 hours.
  4. After rising, gently fold the dough over itself 20 to 40 times to strengthen it.
  5. Grease a baking pan with olive oil, spread the dough into it, and let it rise for another 45 minutes while preheating the oven.
