Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (180°C fan) or gas mark 6. Line a baking tray with parchment.
  2. In a small bowl, combine ground cinnamon and caster sugar.
  3. Unroll the puff pastry onto a floured surface and sprinkle cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly, leaving a 1 cm border.
  4. Brush the beaten egg over the exposed border, then roll the pastry into a cylinder.
  5. Cut the rolled pastry into 12 equal slices, approximately 2.5 cm thick.
  6. Brush the tops and sides of the rolled pastries with remaining beaten egg.
  7. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  8. Let the rolls cool on the tray for 10 to 15 minutes.
  9. Mix icing sugar with water and drizzle over the warm rolls.
