Baking Instructions

  3. Add vegetable oil, egg, vanilla extract, and buttermilk to the dry mixture and stir until just combined.
  4. Divide the batter evenly among the lined cupcake wells and bake for 18-20 minutes.
  5. Let the cupcakes cool on a wire rack for about 5 minutes before transferring them to cool completely.
  6. In another mixing bowl, beat together unsalted butter and brown sugar for about 8 minutes.
  7. Gradually mix in vanilla and salt, then sift in powdered sugar while alternating with milk.
