For the Infusion
  • 1 cup Strawberries Hulled and sliced
  • 1 medium Cucumber Quartered
  • 1 medium Lime Sliced
  • 1 bunch Fresh Mint Leaves Preferably fresh
For the Base
  • 2 cups Ice Cubes Recommended for serving
  • 4 cups Water Consider using sparkling water

Equipment

Method

Preparation Steps
  1. Wash the strawberries, cucumbers, and mint leaves thoroughly under cold water. Hull the strawberries and slice them into thin rounds, then quarter the cucumber for easy munching. Slice the lime into thin circles, aiming for about six slices.
  2. In a half-gallon jar or 2-quart pitcher, layer the sliced strawberries, followed by the cucumber slices, lime rounds, and finally the fresh mint leaves.
  3. Fill the jar with ice cubes to keep the infusion cool and enjoyable.
  4. Pour in enough water to cover all the fruits and vegetables, ensuring they're submerged for maximum infusion.
  5. Cover and let chill in the refrigerator for at least 10 minutes to allow flavors to mingle.
  6. Serve by gently stirring the infusion, pouring into clear glasses, and optionally garnishing with mint or lime slices.
