Step-by-Step Instructions for Simple Caramelized Onion Pasta
  1. In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter over low-medium heat until melted.
  2. Add 2 cups of sliced onions to the skillet and stir to coat. Cook for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Lower the heat and stir in 1 tablespoon of chili oil, 1/2 cup of heavy cream, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
