  • 1/2 cup Sweet Jam Apricot or raspberry jam
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon Optional

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface until it's about 1/8 inch thick and cut into long strips, roughly 3 inches wide.
  3. Wash and thinly slice the apples, then soak them in water mixed with lemon juice to prevent browning.
  4. Arrange the soaked apple slices overlapping along the longer edge of a pastry strip.
  5. Drizzle sweet jam over the apple slices and sprinkle with cinnamon.
  6. Fold the bottom edge of the puff pastry strip to encase the apple slices and roll into a tight rose shape.
  7. Place the formed roses upright in a greased muffin tin.
  8. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown and puffed up.
  9. Let cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
