For the Mousse
  • 12.5 ounces Fresh Strawberries Can substitute with raspberries or blueberries.
  • 0.5 cups Granulated Sugar Alternatively, use honey for natural sweetening.
  • 1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream Ensure it's cold; coconut cream can be a dairy-free alternative.

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Wash 12½ ounces of fresh strawberries, remove green tops, slice in half, and set aside.
  2. Blend the sliced strawberries with ½ cup of granulated sugar to create a smooth puree.
  3. In a cold mixing bowl, beat 1 cup of heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form.
  4. Fold the reserved strawberry puree into the whipped cream gently.
  5. Spoon remaining ½ cup of strawberry puree into 4 serving glasses.
  6. Top glasses with the mousse mixture, filling to the brim.
  7. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  8. Garnish with extra sliced strawberries before serving.
