  3. Add ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart. Cook for 5-7 minutes until browned. Drain excess fat and stir in salsa, heating for 2-3 minutes.
  4. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine refried beans and heat in 30-second intervals until warm.
  5. Spread warmed refried beans over each tostada shell, top with ground beef mixture, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, avocado, and shredded cheese.
  6. Drizzle with sour cream and sprinkle cilantro. Serve immediately with salsa on the side.
