- Remove the membrane from the back of the baby back ribs.
- In a bowl, combine apple cider vinegar, water, brown sugar, sea salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper to make the marinade.
- Marinate the ribs in the mixture for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
- Soak wood chips for 30 minutes if using for smokiness.
- Place the ribs bone-side down on the grill grate for 4-5 hours.
