Ingredients
  

Tortilla Chips
  • 4 pieces Flour Tortillas Substitute with corn tortillas for gluten-free
  • 1 spray Non-stick Cooking Spray Or use oil to coat
  • 1/3 cup Sugar Consider coconut sugar for a healthier option
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
Fruit Salsa
  • 2 pieces Granny Smith Apples
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice Freshly squeezed
  • 2 pieces Kiwis Or substitute with peaches or mango
  • 1 cup Strawberries Blueberries can be used instead
  • 1/2 cup Raspberries Optional, can substitute with blackberries
  • 1-2 tablespoons Brown Sugar Or use honey or maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Fruit Preserves Strawberry or raspberry

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small bowl, combine 1/3 cup of sugar with 1 teaspoon of cinnamon.
  3. Lightly spray each flour tortilla with non-stick cooking spray and sprinkle cinnamon-sugar on both sides.
  4. Cut the coated tortillas into wedges and spread them on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake the tortilla wedges for 11-12 minutes until crisp and lightly golden.
  6. While the chips bake, peel and dice the Granny Smith apples and toss them in lemon juice.
  7. Dice kiwis and strawberries, adding them to the bowl with apples.
  8. Sprinkle 1-2 tablespoons of brown sugar and 2 tablespoons of fruit preserves over the fruit mixture.
  9. Serve the fruit salsa in a bowl alongside warm tortilla chips.
