Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a small bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and active dry yeast. Stir and let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add vegetable oil, salt, and a beaten egg to the yeast mixture. Gradually incorporate bread flour until a rough dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for about 8-10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the kneaded dough in an oiled bowl. Cover and let it rise in a warm place for 1 to 1.5 hours, or until tripled in size.
  5. Punch down the risen dough, divide it into 16 pieces, and shape into smooth balls. Arrange in a buttered baking pan.
  6. Cover the shaped rolls and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C) while the rolls rise.
  8. Brush the tops of the rolls with a beaten egg and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Melt butter with minced garlic and parsley, and brush over the warm rolls after baking.
