  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano substitute with thyme or Italian seasoning if desired
  • 1 teaspoon salt adjust according to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper adjust according to taste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika smoked paprika enhances flavor

Method
 

Marinade Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Add chicken tenders to the bowl, ensuring each piece is well coated. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 4 hours.
Cooking Process
  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat or oven to 400°F (200°C). Oil the grill grates if grilling.
  2. Remove chicken from fridge and let sit at room temperature for 10 minutes. Grill or bake chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side, until fully cooked.
  3. Transfer cooked chicken to a plate and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  4. Slice and serve hot, with dipping sauces if desired.
