Prepare Your Ingredients
- In a small bowl, mix together A1 sauce, Duke's mayonnaise, and garlic powder until well combined. Cover and refrigerate.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté sweet onion and mushrooms for 4-6 minutes until golden.
- Divide ground beef into four portions and shape into patties. Season both sides with seasoning salt.
Cooking the Burgers
- Preheat a griddle over high heat. Cook patties for about 4 minutes, then flip and cook for another 2 minutes.
- In the last minute of cooking, place cheddar cheese on each patty and cover to melt.
- Toast the potato buns on the griddle until golden brown.
Assembling the Burger
- Layer a patty on each toasted bun half, add sautéed onions and mushrooms, then drizzle with burger sauce. Top with the other bun half.
