Instructions
  1. Begin by boiling 2 cups of water in a high-quality pot or kettle. Once boiling, add 2 black tea bags or 2 teaspoons of loose leaf tea. Allow to steep for about 10 minutes, then remove tea bags or strain loose leaves and transfer the brewed tea into a large pitcher.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine 2 cups of water with your diced ripe mango. Bring to a gentle boil over medium-high heat, then reduce to a simmer for approximately 10 minutes. Mash the mango into a smooth puree.
  3. Strain the mango puree through a fine mesh sieve into the pitcher of brewed tea. Press down on the puree to extract all the delicious liquid.
  4. To sweeten, add 2 tablespoons of honey to the pitcher. Stir until honey completely dissolves.
  5. Allow the tea to cool to room temperature. Prepare glasses filled with ice, and pour the chilled Mango Iced Tea over each.
