Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, kosher salt, black pepper, and garlic powder to create a flavorful coating. Set aside while prepping the chicken.
  2. Cut boneless chicken thighs or tenders into bite-sized chunks. Dredge each piece in the flour mixture, shaking off excess flour.
  3. In a large skillet, heat about 1/4 inch of olive oil over medium-high heat. Fry the chicken for approximately 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Once the chicken is golden brown, remove from skillet and let drain on a plate lined with paper towels.
  5. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add unsalted butter. Melt and mix in honey, light soy sauce, and minced garlic. Let bubble for about 2 minutes.
  6. Return the crispy chicken to the skillet, gently tossing in the honey butter sauce until well-coated. Let simmer for an additional minute.
  7. Remove from heat and transfer to a serving platter. Serve immediately with favorite sides.
