  • 2 teaspoons garlic (minced or crushed) Garlic powder can be used, substituting at a 1:4 ratio.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 275°F (135°C) and line two large baking sheets with aluminum foil.
  2. Lightly coat the ribs with sesame oil and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Combine brown sugar, ketchup, soy sauce, pineapple juice, ginger, and garlic in a mixing bowl to create the BBQ sauce.
  4. Generously apply the BBQ sauce to both sides of the seasoned ribs.
  5. Place the ribs on the prepared baking sheets and bake for 3 to 4 hours, rotating every hour.
  6. Check for doneness with a meat thermometer, ensuring they reach 160°F (71°C).
  7. Let the ribs rest for about 10 minutes before cutting into sections and serving.
