Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine 16 ounces of frozen blueberries, 1 cup of water, ¾ cup of organic raw sugar, and 1 tablespoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice. Bring this mixture to a boil over medium heat, then reduce to a simmer for 5 minutes. Mash the blueberries gently to release their juices and flavor. Strain the mixture through a sieve and allow it to cool.
- While the blueberry juice cools, bring 6 cups of water to a boil in a large pot. Remove the pot from heat, add 6 green tea bags, and steep for 3 minutes at 170-180°F. Strain the tea to remove the leaves and let it cool to room temperature.
- In a large jar or pitcher, mix the cooled blueberry juice with the brewed green tea. Add ½ cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice and stir well. Adjust sweetness if desired.
- Add plenty of ice cubes to serving glasses. Refrigerate the pitcher for a couple of hours to chill further. Serve ice-cold and enjoy!
