  • 2 cups Cabbage Shredded, fresh is best
  • 1-1.5 cups Irish Cheddar Cheese Grated

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Grate the potatoes and squeeze out excess moisture using a kitchen towel.
  2. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat until bubbly.
  3. Add grated potatoes to the skillet, pressing into an even layer. Cook for 10 minutes without stirring.
  4. Flip the hash brown and cook for another 8-10 minutes until crispy.
  5. Transfer hash browns to a plate and cover to keep warm. Add more butter to the skillet if needed.
  6. Sauté the shredded cabbage for 5-7 minutes until tender.
  7. Combine the crispy hash browns with the sautéed cabbage in the skillet.
  8. Sprinkle grated Irish cheddar on top and cover. Cook on low for 3-5 minutes until cheese melts.
  9. Serve warm, slicing portions directly from the skillet.
