Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Chop 2 cups of fresh cranberries, 1 to 2 jalapeños, 2 green onions (green tops only), and a handful of cilantro.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine chopped cranberries, jalapeños, green onions, cilantro, 1/4 cup sugar, juice of 1 lemon, and a pinch of salt. Stir gently and refrigerate for at least 12 hours.
  3. After marinating, strain the mixture for about 10 minutes to prevent it from being watery.
  4. Whip 8 ounces of cream cheese until smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes. Spread evenly in a serving dish.
  5. Pour the chilled cranberry mixture over the whipped cream cheese layer, spreading evenly.
