For the Glaze
  • 1 cup Confectioners' Sugar sifted
  • 2-4 tbsp Milk adjust for desired consistency
  • 1 pinch Salt balances sweetness

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a doughnut pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the wet ingredients.
  4. Gently fold the wet ingredients into the dry mixture.
  5. Fill each cavity of your greased doughnut pan approximately three-quarters full.
  6. Place the filled doughnut pan in the oven and bake for 11-13 minutes.
  7. Let the doughnuts cool for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  8. In a bowl, whisk together the glaze ingredients until smooth.
  9. Dip the tops of the cooled doughnuts into the glaze and allow excess to drip off.
