Ingredients
  

For the Patty
  • 1 pound Ground Beef 80/20 blend recommended
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce must-have for authentic taste
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
For the Toppings
  • 4 slices Bacon can substitute with turkey bacon
  • 1 large Onion sliced
  • 1/2 cup Cheddar Cheese grated
For the Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream or Greek yogurt for substitute
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon Mustard yellow mustard can be used
For the Burger
  • 1/2 cup Irish Stout like Guinness
  • 4 Brioche Burger Buns can use gluten-free buns
  • Butter for toasting buns

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy, about 6-8 minutes.
  2. Add sliced onion to the skillet and caramelize over medium heat for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Pour in Irish stout and simmer with onions until reduced by half, about 5 minutes.
  4. Combine ground beef with Worcestershire sauce and season with salt and pepper; form into 4 patties.
  5. Cook patties on medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes on each side, adding cheddar cheese in the last minute.
  6. In a bowl, mix together sour cream, Dijon mustard, and a pinch of salt for the sauce.
  7. Toast burger buns in melted butter until golden brown.
  8. Assemble the burger with the bottom bun, patty, caramelized onions, bacon, sauce, and top bun.
  9. Serve hot with sides like sweet potato fries or chips.
