Baking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Gather your ingredients and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together 1 ¾ cups of all-purpose flour, ¾ cup of unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 ½ teaspoons of baking powder, and ½ teaspoon of salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat ½ cup of softened unsalted butter and 1 cup of granulated sugar together until light and fluffy.
  4. Add 2 large eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Mix in ⅓ cup of Baileys Irish Cream until well blended.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, alternating with 1 cup of milk, starting and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix on low speed just until combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Let the loaf cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. Beat 8 ounces of softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add 2 cups of powdered sugar and a few tablespoons of milk until fluffy.
  10. Once cooled, spread the cream cheese frosting generously on top and dust with cocoa powder.
