Directions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, blend together the softened cream cheese, sharp cheddar cheese, sliced jalapenos, and garlic powder.
- Roll out the puff pastry to about 6mm thick and cut into 5 cm wide strips.
- Place a spoonful of filling on one half of each pastry strip, fold over, and twist to shape.
- Beat an egg and brush it on top of each twist.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15–20 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving with your choice of dipping sauces.
