  • 2 cups Shredded Italian-Blend Cheese Substitute with mozzarella or dairy-free blend
  • 8 ounces Fresh Mozzarella Burrata can be used for creaminess

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Gather your baking pan and all ingredients.
  2. In a large skillet, brown the Italian sausage over medium-high heat for 5–7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  3. Combine ricotta cheese, egg, parmesan cheese, parsley, and basil in a mixing bowl. Stir until smooth.
  4. Spread ¼ cup of marinara sauce evenly across the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  5. Place three oven-ready lasagna noodles on top of the marinara, followed by ¼ of the ricotta mixture, ¼ of the sausage, ½ cup marinara, and shredded cheese.
  6. Repeat the layering process: noodles, ricotta, sausage, marinara, and cheese for three total layers.
  7. Spread the last of the marinara sauce on top and cover tightly with aluminum foil.
  8. Bake the lasagna in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil, add sliced fresh mozzarella on top, and bake uncovered for an additional 15-20 minutes.
  10. Let the lasagna rest for 20-25 minutes before slicing for easier serving.
