Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Juice four medium lemons to yield approximately 1 cup of fresh lemon juice.
  2. In a mixing bowl, add ½ cup of granulated sugar to the lemon juice and stir until dissolved.
  3. Chop about 10 mint leaves and add to the lemon-sugar mixture; let it sit for 5 minutes.
  4. In a large pitcher, pour in 2 cups of chilled sparkling water and gently mix in the lemon-mint mixture.
  5. Serve in glasses filled with ice cubes, pouring the lemonade mixture over the ice.
  6. Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint and serve immediately.
