  • 2 pounds Pork Spare Ribs or baby back ribs for a leaner choice
For the Spice Rub
  • 2 tablespoons Paprika or smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Chili Powder
For the Sauce
  • 1 cup Barbecue Sauce use your favorite brand or homemade

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 275°F (135°C).
  2. Remove the thin membrane from the back of the pork spare ribs using a paper towel.
  3. Combine paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and chili powder in a bowl.
  4. Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the ribs.
  5. Wrap the seasoned ribs tightly in aluminum foil on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 2.5 to 3 hours until the meat is tender.
  7. Remove the ribs from the oven, take off the foil, and brush barbecue sauce over them.
  8. Switch to broil mode and broil the ribs for 3 to 5 minutes until caramelized.
  9. Let the ribs rest for a few minutes before slicing.
