Ingredients
  

For the Tea Base
  • 2 bags Black Tea Bags Use loose leaf for a fresher taste.
  • 1 cup Water Filtered water for the best flavor.
For the Mango Blend
  • 1 unit Ripe Mango Fresh or frozen cubes.
  • 2 tablespoons Honey Adjust to taste or substitute with agave for vegan.
For Serving
  • Ice Ice For serving chilled.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Begin by boiling 1 cup of water in a small pot over medium heat. Add 2 black tea bags and let steep for about 3 minutes. Remove the tea bags and allow to cool to room temperature.
  2. Mix in 2 tablespoons of honey into the warm tea, stirring until dissolved. Set aside to cool completely.
  3. Dice 1 ripe mango into small chunks and blend with ½ cup of water until smooth.
  4. Strain the blended mango through a fine mesh sieve to extract pure mango nectar.
  5. Fill clear glasses halfway with ice and pour cooled sweetened tea until about two-thirds full.
  6. Gently pour fresh mango nectar over the chilled tea for a layered effect.
  7. Garnish each glass with fresh mango slices and a sprig of mint if desired. Serve immediately.
