Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the Pineapple: Peel and chop a ripe pineapple into small chunks, ensuring you remove the core. Aim for approximately two cups of chunks.
  2. Blend the Ingredients: Combine the pineapple chunks with the lemon juice and water. Blend on high for about 30–45 seconds until smooth.
  3. Strain the Mixture: Use a fine mesh sieve over a bowl to filter the blended mixture. Press down to allow the liquid through, leaving pulp behind.
  4. Chill with Ice: Fill drinking glasses with crushed ice to chill the drink.
  5. Rim the Glasses (Optional): Rim glasses with sugar for a sweet touch by dipping in water and then granulated sugar.
  6. Pour and Garnish: Pour the strained mixture over the ice-filled glasses. Optionally, grill pineapple slices for garnish.
  7. Finish with Mint: Add a sprig of fresh mint leaves to each glass and serve immediately.
