Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together almond beverage, flour, maple syrup, garlic powder, sea salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and crushed red pepper until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, pour out your bread crumbs for coating the cauliflower wings.
  4. Dip each cauliflower piece into the batter, allowing excess batter to drip off, then toss into the bread crumbs to coat.
  5. Arrange the coated cauliflower wings on the lined baking sheet, spaced apart for even cooking.
  6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden brown and crispy. For extra crispiness, broil for an additional 5 to 10 minutes.
  7. In a saucepan, combine maple syrup and additional sauce ingredients; heat and whisk until boiling, then simmer for 8 to 10 minutes to thicken.
  8. Remove baked wings from the oven and toss them in the sauce until fully coated.
  9. Serve garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
