  • 1 lb Ground Beef lean beef is preferred
  • 1 packet Taco Seasoning store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup Diced Tomatoes and Green Chiles
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup Ranch Dressing store-bought or homemade
For the Shells
  • 12 pieces Phyllo Tart Shells can be found in the frozen section

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat for about 5-7 minutes until browned.
  3. Add taco seasoning, diced tomatoes, and green chiles to the beef and simmer on low for 5 minutes.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine shredded cheddar cheese and ranch dressing until well mixed.
  5. Fold the meat mixture into the cheese and ranch blend until combined.
  6. Fill each phyllo tart shell with the meat and cheese filling.
  7. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve warm.
