  • 1/2 medium Red Onion diced
  • 1 medium Jalapeno diced, adjust for heat preference

  • 8 oz Cream Cheese can use herbed varieties
  • 1/2 cup Greek Yogurt or Sour Cream Greek is healthier
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder or fresh garlic
  • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika or regular paprika
  • 1 tsp Coarse Sea Salt sprinkle before serving
  • 1 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese or mozzarella for milder taste
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce optional, low-sodium if desired
For Garnish
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Seeds black or white, for decoration

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Slice the Persian cucumbers into ½ cm thick slices and arrange in a mixing bowl.
  2. Dice the red onion and jalapeno, adding them to the bowl with the cucumbers.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine cream cheese and Greek yogurt or sour cream to create a smooth dressing; add garlic powder and smoked paprika.
  4. Pour the creamy dressing over the cucumber mixture and gently toss to coat.
  5. Sprinkle coarse sea salt over the salad and toss lightly to incorporate.
  6. Transfer to a serving plate, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and chill for 15-20 minutes before serving.
